Camellia Japonica Silver Anniversary Evergreen Perennial

Apart from the fact that the flowers take on a brown tint on the edges when there is too much moisture (specific to Camellias), I have nothing to blame them for.
Flowering very early I like to keep them close, in sight, to enjoy them.
That's why I prefer to keep them in pots.
After flowering (late winter - spring), during the summer time Camellia must be protected from the direct sunlight.

What I like about this Camellia:
💙💙💙💙💙
Hardy frost resistant.
Start flowering in winter time .
Peony-form flowers with irregular petals .
The flowers have a silky texture.

I do not like:
Very slow growth.
Brown tint on the edges of the flowers.

Pests: Can get aphids, cushion scale and vine weevil.
Diseases: May be affected by honey fungus, phytophthora root rot, camellia gall, camellia leaf blight, camellia yellow mottle virus and flowers may be infected by camellia petal blight.
