Cherry Lips

Salvia Cherry Lips
Salvia Cherry Lips - planted 22.05.2021

Other names: Salvia Dysceri.
Hardy perennial.
Aromatic foliage: Blackcurrant fragrance.
Colors: Purple and white.
Flowering: Summer to Fall.
Height: 90 cm.
Spread: 60 cm.
Growing conditions: Full sun.
Prune lightly in late spring when new growth appears to remove dead stems and to maintain a bushy shape

My favorites type of Salvias: Herbaceous with woody stems.
All my sages from this group wintered very well.
(I can confirm that they are frost resistant)
Cherry Lips Sage really has an unusual scent.

Newly planted, it is small, but I expect it to grow fast during the summer time.
I'll keep you posted.
