The first flowering in early summer was spectacular (first picture).

Then the plant got a disease called ,,clematis wilt'' so I cut back everything that was affected. There is not much left of the clematis.

It had very good regenerative power. By the end of the summer it reached the top of the fence and extended about 1 m to the side with a lot of flowers.

The flowers lighten as they age.

I'm very impressed, Daniel Deronda, President and Huvi makes the biggest flowers (20 cm wide).
