Coreopsis Grandiflora Sunfire

Coreopsis Grandiflora Sunfire Perennial Yellow Flowers

Perennial
Colors: Golden yellow flowers with burgundy red eyes
Flowering: Summer
Height: 0.5 m
Spread: 0.5 m
Growing conditions: Full sun, Partial shade

First Summer 2020

I kept them in pots all summer (as I bought them) and they bloomed very nicely. Very bright and cheerful flowers.
But ..... when you buy them from garden centers the flowers come from greenhouses where they have a controlled climate.
I planted them in the ground in the middle of autumn, so this year I can't say how well they grow and bloom in the natural environment.

I'll keep you posted next year.

Pruning: Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Cut old stems back to their bases as they die back at the end of the year
Pests: Slugs and snails can prove troublesome
Diseases: Generally trouble free
