Crocosmia

Planted in late Summer of 2020

The flowers are beautiful, tall, not too many leaves, perfect for cottage garden. I bought them late and I can't comment too much, I will wait for next summer to observe all the stages and I will come back with opinions and photos.

Garden care:
Crocosmia are bulbous perennial.
There is no need to take the bulbs out like tulips bulbs.
Crocosmia dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
In Summer time remove spent flowers to encourage new blooms (cut the stems where they meat the leaves).
Keep the leaves until they wither and die back, after cut foliage almost to ground level.
Crocosmia should only be divided to every 3-4 years in late summer or early autumn.
