Fuchsia Annabelle

Fuchsia Annabelle Trailing

Perennial Semi-trailing
Colors: White
Flowering: Early Summer, Autumn
Height: 0.5 m
Spread: 0.5 m
Growing condition: Full sun or Partial shade.
Pruning: Group 6
Prunes in early to mid-spring when severe weather is past and growth buds are beginning to swell.

I bought four Fuchsias in the early summer of 2020 when they were in bloom. One shrub (Fuchsia Margareth Kendrich) and other three trailing. One of them is Fuchsia AnnabelleWhen you see them in bloom it's hard to resist not buying.....
Simply beautiful .... being completely white she looks like a ballerina 😊
Only issue is that Annabelle did not grow. It bloomed until late autumn but did not grow at all ....

RHS says they can be Annual, Decidous, Perennial or Evergreen. I hope mine are Perennials (nothing is specified on the tag).
However, all trailing Fuchsias kept their leaves until January, after a first half of winter colder than usual.
I will definitely know in the spring. Fingers crossed 😊

Pests: Aphids, capsid bug, fuchsia gall mite and vine weevil may cause problems.
Diseases: May be subject to fuchsia rust.
