I Bought two of them from David Austin (bare root) on late November of 2019.
I planted them in the ground in full sun (east facing).
The idea was to pick the petals and make rose jam.
The first Summer 2020
They grew very well, even too tall, but did not bloom at all. No flowers all summer.
When I called David Austin they told me that because they are old roses they may not bloom in the first year.....
Very disappointed..
I don't have photos because....there were no flowers to do it.
I'll give them another chance next year and I will comeback with details.
In the winter of 2020-2021 he moved them to housing and I planted them in full sun.
The second Summer 2021
In the summer of 2021 they made only a few roses.
I'm waiting another year .....
The third year 2022
In May 2022 an explosion of roses. They made a lot of buds that blossomed. Every time I go to the garden I pick roses for jam. After a month it continues to bloom
Looks like they like the spot
